Vinyl Theatre ~ Drums in My Head!

Vinyl Theatre Drums in My Head Artwork!

I love music so much that when I heard the song “Drums in My Head”, I knew it was the perfect way to describe why I am the way I am.  Drums have to be literally playing in my head all the time.  Or that is how it seems anyway.  “Drums in My Head” is a brilliant track by VINYL THEATRE, an up and coming Milwaukee band I happened to come across last week, and I have blasted it ever since.   As bold and vibrant as the crazy cool cover art on their ‘Chromatic’ EPVINYL THEATRE has a rock out style I find wildly entertaining.  And it all comes flawlessly together for me with “Drums in My Head”.  I love how the lyrics paint a picture for me as I listen to them, like the line “there are things I miss about the quiet, but keeping with the drums will take you to your wild desires”.  From the pounding of the drums and the electronic textures in the periphery to the sexy bursts of guitar riffs and the emotion filled lead vocals, VINYL THEATRE has created an impressive high energy track that is uncontrollably infectious.  And I have to say it is one of my favorite tracks I have heard this year!

“Drums in My Head” is the last release from an amazing EP I am highly recommending and I look forward to seeing how their sound evolves moving forward.  Pick up a copy of ‘Chromatic’ here and be on alert.  VINYL THEATRE is on the road to big things!!  Just call it a hunch!

Born in sunny San Diego and raised in central Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois @Urbana-Champaign and spent the better part of 10 years in sunny Phoenix Arizona after graduation. I now reside in Savoy IL and I try to make it up to the Chicago music scene as much as I can. Music has always been a part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!
