Sir Sly ~ Easy Now!

Sir Sly Easy Now Artwork!

SIR SLY is making it seem all too “Easy Now”, continually dropping songs that get trapped inside my head for days.  The LA trio has been slowly revealing their signature Sly-fi style to the masses over the past year and with each new track, more people are buying in.  Their latest creation has a brighter feel than “Ghost” and their last song “Gold”, but their addicting sound is still almost impossible for me to ignore.

“Easy Now” is a song that is utterly melodious at it’s core.  The searing lead vocals of Landon Jacobs are neatly embellished by shimmering keyboard pulses, rolling basslines and soft trickling guitar strums.  The tempo has a nice ebb and flow to it and is beautifully accented by hypnotizing synth chords.  “Easy Now” is another solid offering by SIR SLY that packs a lot of energy and emotion within itself.  Sly-fi is a style I can definitely get used to.

SIR SLY will release their debut Ghost EP on March 4th via Neon Gold in the U.S. and National Anthem elsewhere.  Who knows, “Easy Now” might still be stuck inside my head on that day!

Born in sunny San Diego and raised in central Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois @Urbana-Champaign and spent the better part of 10 years in sunny Phoenix Arizona after graduation. I now reside in Savoy IL and I try to make it up to the Chicago music scene as much as I can. Music has always been a part of my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
