Misty Miller ~ Anything For You!

Misty Miller! The most memorable music to me has a way of picking me up and placing me right smack in the middle of a mental image conjured up by simply pushing the play button on that song.  Listening to “Anything For You” by South London newcomer MISTY MILLER definitely paints a picture in my head.  I see myself at a music festival on a warm summer day, surrounded by music fans who begin to stir as the band takes the stage.  As the first rock tinged guitar strums start to echo out towards me, the anticipation of the crowd turns to an excited roar as everyone recognizes the song about to be played.  When MISTY’s vocals kick in I look around me and all I see is everyone singing the lyrics “You say you like it, but babe you’ve never tried it, I’m dying for you just to take a little bite”.  Then the whole band kicks in, we all go crazy and the rest is history.

“Anything For You” in my opinion, is tailor made for the live stage whether it be at a concert or like my vision at a music festival.  The indie rock sound is solid with a strong hint towards classic rock and blues influences.  MISTY’s voice is beautiful and lively and I would love to hear her in person one day even though there really isn’t anything distinctive about it.  “Anything For You” is ultimately a fun and catchy tune I can see receiving a lot of airplay.  If it does, who knows, my make believe scenario just might become reality someday!

Be on the lookout for MISTY MILLER’s ‘Next To You’ EP which should be available soon!!!

Born in sunny San Diego and raised in central Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois @Urbana-Champaign and spent the better part of 10 years in sunny Phoenix Arizona after graduation. I now reside in Savoy IL and I try to make it up to the Chicago music scene as much as I can. Music has always been a part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!
