Rising Australian music producer KILTER is back in the limelight with a massive brand new single that has blared through my headphones since it dropped yesterday. Following his worldwide success of my favorite remixed version of Ben Pearce’s “What I Might Do” a few months ago, KILTER flexes his original track making skills with “Hold Me”; a shiny new track that is both impressively constructed and wildly entertaining. Featuring the talents of London duo Youth, “Hold Me” finds the perfect balance between hard-hitting beats, silky smooth r&b inspired vocals and slow dance styled melodies. The resulting layers of sound can fill up any room imaginable and is distinct enough to the point where I can easily see myself listening to them anywhere. It’s just that good!
KILTER is planning to release “Hold Me” on November 8 via etcetc and will feature highly anticipated remixes from Cosmo’s Midnight and Paces. Both amazing producers I am a huge fan of. And with his latest, KILTER may have just jumped to the top of my list!
