JP. Cooper ~ Satellite

JP. Cooper Feb 15 tour!

Who is JP. COOPER?  An extremely talented musician, singer and songwriter from Manchester.

My first impression of “Satellite” :  An acoustic led charge of beautiful sound teeming with dancing guitar string picks, tiptoeing piano pulses and naturally indelible vocals.

My take :  I first heard “Satellite” back in the middle of 2013 and I remember being completely engrossed in the song all the way through.  There is something extraordinary in the way JP. COOPER pulls a listener in with his voice, articulating feelings and emotions in a self-assured and polished way that leaves a person hanging on his every word.  Amidst gorgeous flurries of guitar, random splashes of piano and those remarkable vocals, “Satellite” carries me on a subdued yet exhilarating roller coaster ride of one-sided emotions and a sense of disappointment.  Only to come out on the other side hopeful of what might happen next.

“Satellite” is one of the highlights off a 5-track second EP for JP. COOPER, set to drop on January 26th.  Pick up the ‘When the Darkness Comes” EP here!

Born in sunny San Diego and raised in central Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois @Urbana-Champaign and spent the better part of 10 years in sunny Phoenix Arizona after graduation. I now reside in Savoy IL and I try to make it up to the Chicago music scene as much as I can. Music has always been a part of my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
