Diafrix ~ Easy Come, Easy Go!

Diafrix Pocketful Of Dreams Album Cover!

It’s been four years since Australian based duo DIAFRIX dropped their debut album Concrete Jungle, but their message is still clear.  Carrying a torch for the voiceless dreamers around the world,  The African born hip hop duo released Pocket Full of Dreams late last year proving hard work and dedication can pay off in the end.  One of my favorite tracks off the album is “Easy Come, Easy Go” and once I listened to the song it bounced around my head all day.

Momo and Azmarino are the inspirational DIAFRIX frontmen and in “Easy Come, Easy Go”, they throw down positive rhymes with a playful vibe that gets you moving.  The lyrics have substance explaining that no matter how bad a situation can be, you ultimately control how you react to it.  The soulful guitar intro opens the song nice and smooth giving way to a solid overall sound that would easily translate great to the live stage.  Having build a reputation for amazingly high energy festival and concert performances,  “Easy Come, Easy Go” is definitely a track I would definitely be stoked to see in person.

“Easy Come, Easy Go” is an a good representative tune from their second album.  If you haven’t been able to listen to DIAFRIX‘s  Pocket Full of Dreams, you have definitely been missing out.  The record is available now online and on CD so follow the links below to get your copy today!

Born in sunny San Diego and raised in central Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois @Urbana-Champaign and spent the better part of 10 years in sunny Phoenix Arizona after graduation. I now reside in Savoy IL and I try to make it up to the Chicago music scene as much as I can. Music has always been a part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!
