Beacon -Bring You Back Artwork!

There are some musicians who have the ability to create songs that transcend outward expressions of melodies and sounds with elaborate mental artistry meant to be experienced from within. In simpler terms, crafting songs that sound great and make you think and feel all at the same time. When you listen to “Bring You Back” by Brooklyn duo, BEACON, you are hit with a tidal wave of intense organic sounds and lush harmonic structures blended with the vision of a true artist. In this case, two artists by the names of Thomas Mullarney and Jacob Gossett whose newest single, “Bring You Back”, is truly brilliant.

The focus on experimenting with exotic new sounds is easy to hear from the very beginning of the track. “Bring You Back” opens up with gorgeous harp-imitating keyboard flutters that make your ears tingle. The light hitting vocals are beautifully sprinkled on top of a pounding hip hop beat resulting in a layer of sound that is undeniably hypnotic. “Bring You Back” is creatively constructed and ultimately marries emotion, beauty and introspection into one incredible musical package.

BEACON plans to unveil ‘The Ways We Separate’ on April 29th and their debut album is already creating quite a buzz around online music circles. “Bring You Back” is an amazing first single from the Ghostly International release that figures to be full of seductively thought provoking tunes.

Born in sunny San Diego and raised in central Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois @Urbana-Champaign and spent the better part of 10 years in sunny Phoenix Arizona after graduation. I now reside in Savoy IL and I try to make it up to the Chicago music scene as much as I can. Music has always been a part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!
